TeenagersI specialize in working with teens who feel stuck, misunderstood, or are dealing with anxiety, self-harm, substance abuse, ADHD, bullying (including via social media), or just trying to figure out who they are. As a former school therapist in the John Muir Charter School system, I have seen that many teens are carrying more than they show and that a small problem in one area of their lives can have a ripple effect and cause large problems elsewhere. I offer a space where teens don’t have to pretend, perform, or be perfect—just a place to be real, feel heard, and start to understand themselves better.

I approach each teen with honesty, respect, and warmth, and I move at their pace so they never feel pushed or judged. At the same time, I understand how hard it is as a parent to watch your teen struggle and not know how to help. My role is to support both your teen and your family by strengthening reflection, communication, and emotional safety. I don’t take sides or assign blame; instead, I help teens and families move from conflict and confusion toward connection and clarity.
